Here is what I suggested.
For the guaranteed in the sun good time; - KOKO on St. Laurent and Sherbrooke - Place D’armes Terrasse at 701, Place D’armes.
A secret of mine; - Terrasse sur L’Auberge du Vieux Port, on 97 Rue de la Commune Est. Try to go on a fireworks night, you’ll be in awe of the view.
Something different; - The belvü, a catamaran-lounge that boats around the island. 154, rue Saint-Paul E.
Something tasty; - BurgerBar on Crescent, because they have an amazing burger and you can eat it outside on their terrace.
We have a lot of amazing places in Montreal, please suggest and leave your comments.
